1. Who we are
Dogeanu Studio ("we", "us", "our") is a web design and digital marketing studio based in the United Kingdom, run by Andrei Dogeanu. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, type of business, the service you're interested in and anything you write in your message.
- Emails, WhatsApp messages and calls: your contact details and anything you choose to share with us.
- Booking a call: if you book through our booking tool, the details you enter there (such as your name, email and preferred time).
- Client projects: business and contact details, billing information and any content or account access you give us to do the work.
- Website usage (only with your consent): analytics data such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site. See our Cookie Policy.
3. How and why we use your data

We will never sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your data with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Form handling: Formspree, which receives and forwards contact form messages.
- Website hosting: Fasthosts (UK).
- Email: our business email provider.
- Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us that way.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (Google), only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Accounting: our accountant and accounting software.
We may also share data where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required by HMRC.
- Analytics data: 14 months (set in Google Analytics).
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that's wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data;
- ask for your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

8. Keeping your data safe
We use reputable providers, secure connections (HTTPS), strong passwords and two-factor authentication wherever possible, and we only give access to people who need it.
9. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
